Twilight at the Well of Souls
''Twilight at the Well of Souls'' is the fifth novel in the Well of Souls series by American author Jack L. Chalker. It is a science fiction novel. ''Twilight at the Well of Souls'' concludes the narrative begun in the fourth book, ''The Return of Nathan Brazil''.
==Plot introduction==
The rift in space that was opened in ''The Return of Nathan Brazil'' is growing ever-larger, and before long, the damage to the Well of Souls will be beyond recovery. Nathan Brazil and Mavra Chang must reach the Well before that happens, or the universe will be destroyed, as though it had never existed. However, that's no easy task, as a vast array of species are gathering to oppose them. The last time Brazil was in the Well of Souls, he claimed he was God; who knows what he'll do if he gets in there again? As his enemies will find, stopping Brazil is no easy task. For one thing, there's too many of him.
